SUSTAINABLE VILLAGE: Closing ceremony of Sustainable Village project - Phase 1

After nearly a year of implementing a comprehensive solution to support disadvantaged households, the Sustainable Village project initiated by SonKim Land has built new houses for 8 households, renovated houses for 5 households, and built toilets for 13 households in Hung Thanh commune, Thap Muoi district, Dong Thap province.

The Sustainable Village project is a part of the long-term CSR strategy of SonKim Land. The project not only helps people with housing, clean water, and sanitation but also helps them proactively eliminate poverty by training to improve community capacity, promote the strengths of each household in order to escape from poverty ‘sustainably’ by themselves.

On October 16, the closing ceremony of the Sustainable Village project Phase 1 took place at the People's Committee of Hung Thanh commune. At the ceremony, the joy on every face of the 26 households participating in the project was evident, the households could not hold back their emotions as they were able to settle down and start to reach the dream of escaping from poverty from now on.
